Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My ex moved in to her boyfriends house. She has custody of our son. Is this a good enough of a reason for me to seek a modification to his custody?

It can be a good enough reason for you to seek a modification for custody. In order to be successful in a modification case, you must prove that their has been a substantial change in circumstances since the last court judgment and due to the change in circumstances the best interests of the child would be for the child to live with you. If you have information about your ex's boyfriend that is concerning, or you believe that the new living arrangement is harmful to your child these are all valid reasons for filing a Complaint for Modification.
