Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Moving out of Massachusetts

I am interested in moving out of state with my children. If I do not get the permission for the father, (one monent he says okay, the next no) what do I need to provide to the courts in the best interest of my kids for the move to get the permission to leave? Do I have to have a job lined up? All my family who have had to be supportive long distance will take us in to live with them as we get settled in the area.

Thanks in anvance for any help on this.

Re: Moving out of Massachusetts

The proper way is either to get him to agree in writing and file it in court; or to petition the court for permission to move.
