Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
Can a notary of the public legally issue a subpoena duces on behalf of her daughter in law in Massachusetts? Wouldn't this be a direct violation of the standards of conduct for notaries public...section 6 a#7 and possibly h? Is this valid reason to squash?

A Notary can sign the Subpoena. The Notary does not issue this. The lawyer or a party issues this to be served.
