Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Options after Divorce

I was married in 06/03 under completely flase pretenses. The guy lied about his age, though I found out his correct age when we applied for the marriage license ( I decided to look past it), he lied about having been married before (our marriage license was wrong for a year until we had it corrected, and finally he lied about his status here (he had a current application for permanent resident alien when he did not). In other words, he needed me to ensure his staying here. We divorced in 08/06 after everything was complete but I have suffered financially and emotionally as a result of this (had to file bankruptcy) etc. Is there any grounds here for me to sue him? Now he--name removed--working and I am unemployed - is there a chance I could sue even just for alimony if not more? This marriage ruined me financially and mentally and I would have divorced him even sooner but I was scared with all the things he was into and doing with the federal gov't in trying to finalize his application. Even his first marriage was a sham I found out after our divorce. What are my options here?

If you have the funds, you can file a civil action against him.
