i owned my house for 12 years before i got married. im getting divorced now after only 4 months, can he get my house?

That is certainly unlikely, but you should be aware of the risk that any and all property may be considered marital property by the judge. There is no way to say for sure what the other party will demand and what justification they will give. For example, have you been living in the house together for 10 years prior to getting married? Since a judge may consider all property of the parties as marital property to be divided in a divorce, you should retain an attorney to protect your interest in any potential divorce proceedings. Good Luck!
