Can parents legally prevent a minor from seeing someone in MA?

I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 18. We're gay, we are not having sexual relations, and we live in MA.

Can she legally prevent me from seeing him?

You are her child and she has a right, until you are an adult, to limit who you interact with.
