Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

The parties were divorced in 2002 in MA. Mother had sole custody until Jan.2009 when the parties agreed to a same amount child support no matter which parent to pay the support, the child went to CA. The 17 year old child was back in MA for 7.5 weeks in summer 2009, father refused to pay mother any child support. The Modification Judgment in April 2009 ordered that mother's support obligations shall be suspended while the child is in MA in summer but did not spell it out whether or not the father shall pay child support to mother. Should mother file for Contempt against father for failed to pay child support in summer 2009?

Thanks,

Mother

This is confusing.

It sounds like the father did not have to pay for the summer, or most of it.

Not if the order stated that Father did not have to pay during the summer time.
