Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

if your paying child support in MA, do you still need to pay the child's school tuition? The judge did not mention it in the paper ordered.

If it's not in the court order, you don't have to pay it. Be sure to read the court order carefully. Sometimes the language doesn't specifically address tuition, but does address "other expenses."

You should probably have your divorce agreement or order reviewed by an attorney. You may want to put your head together with your co-parent and come up with a financial solution that works for both of you and that is in the best interests of your child. If you don't, you risk being on the other end of a Complaint for Modification when things get tight.
