Photos of minors

My stepdaughter (20 years old in college) is posting pictures of my monor children (her half siblings) 4 years old on her facebook site and refuses to remove them - what can I do

It is an interesting issue. She is their step sister or half-sister I presume. You can contact facebook and raise a complaint and inform them and her if anything happens to these minor children you will hold her and them responsible.

Your 20 year old should understand your concern given the crazy people who prowl face book.

First off, you need to make sure that you and her parents are in agreement -- especially the parent to whom you are married.

Second, I would make it clear to her that she must stop. As the parents of children, you have some right to require this of any third party adult. You may have leverage in the form of fundng for college and lifestyle, though of course that is limited.

If she refuses, you have the option of contacting Facebook with your complaint. If that does not work, you could litigate, naming both Facebook and the stepchild in the suit. I suspect a court would agree that we don't need kids shown all over the Internet.

None of these actions are going to help your marriage, or your relationship with your step-daughter.
