I'm the plantiff

IMy lawyer wrote a letter stating that me the plantiff will have a hearing to motion to vacate dismissal. what does this mean?

You really should discuss these things with your lawyer. If s/he is not communicating with you effectively, you may consider hiring a new attorney.

Generally speaking, it sounds as though you have asked the court to remove (or vacate) a dismissal in your case, and the court will be holding a hearing to decide the matter.
