query check for for 17 year old

at the age of 17, my child pleaded guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (foot). The person is now almost 19 and is applying for a job at a daycare service. They will do a query background check. what might the results be?

It really depends upon whether he pled guilty or received a continuation without a finding(CWOF). Pleading guilty to that offense is a felony conviction. Admitting to sufficient facts and receiving a continuation without a finding (CWOF) is not.The CWOF will show up on the record but is not considered to be a felony conviction and does not need to be reported on job applications when one is asked about felony convictions. A plea of guilty is a felony conviction and would need to be reported if job application asked for felony convictions.
