Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I was receiving child support from my first husband and subsequently remarried and divorced after 1 year. Kids are emancipated and alimony was left open after my first marriage of 21 years. Does my second marriage effect my ability to seek alimony from my first husband?

You'll have to get your agreement reviewed by an attorney to know for sure. But I think as a practical matter, the fact that you remarried may make it more difficult to get alimony now under these circumstances.
