Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
i recently took my daughter to the doctors for something on her bottom that resembled a burn and they took a test on the leaky fluid and it was going to take 24-48 hrs to come in in the mean time they called DCF on me and they came to my house and questioned my 3 yr old daughter and now i called and they said that in fact there was something growing so that mean it wasnt a burn like they were accusing me of.so i wanted to kno what can i do about that.

Your doctor has an obligation, per Massachusetts law, to report any suspected incidents of child abuse. DCF has an obligation, in its charter, to investigate suspected acts of child abuse. I realize that an allegation that you would intentionally burn your daughter is deeply, deeply, offensive to you - as it would be to most parents.
However, nothing you have said indicates, to me at least, that there is a basis for a claim here. It may help you to consider that the stringent reporting guidelines may have saved some children from actual child abuse. My only advice to you is not to take it personally.
