Re: Remarried

"Someone" can be prosecuted for bigamy, which is a crime in most if not all states of the United States.

"Someone's" second spouse will also be entitled to NONE of the benefits of marriage (support, equitable property sharing, medical insurance, spousal privileges in court cases, or any of the other of hundreds of advantages conferred by law), nor will "someone" be entitled to claim those benefits from presumably innocent second spouse.

Re: Remarried

Bigamy (being married to 2 people at once) is a crime.

The second marriage is invalid.
