Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
Removal f children
I live in MA and I ex-wife and children used to live in DE. My ex and I shared legal custody and she was granted physical custody. She was also granted the right to remove the children from MA and relocate them to DE. Nowshe hs moved to MD, does she have to ask the court for permission to move or can shejust move whereever she wants to?

Re: Removal f children
She needs permission from the court, especially where she is moving the children even farther away and your visitation rights are further impacted

Re: Removal f children
Once she moved them from Massachusetts, jurisdiction over care, custody and visitation shifted to MD, and followed its rules and law.
