Reneg 0n car payments

I was recentlt divorced,had aagreement which was incorporated but not merged in the judgement,would survive& remain independent contract.Husband agreed to payments for the vehicle which he had in posession for a year. vehicle was mine,contract in my name.He with banks consent,releasing title so he could register and insure in his name.Has not made payments since Nov.when divorce took place.I have been on unpaid medical leave since June and was informed I would be out indefinetly due to complications.I have no income at all at this time and have to reside with family.i'm under Phyc.care also. What is my recourse with this promblem?

Go to probate court;

Get a complaint for contempt;

Fill it out describing in one part what he was supposed to do under the order;

In the other part what he failed to do;

And then seek sanctions, including any damages and costs;

Make sure to keep at least one copy of the complaint, since you will be sent a summons that you will have to serve on him;

take the summons to a process server or sheriff, with a copy of the complaint and have it served;

The summons will have a return date;

Remember, always keep copies;

On the return date, go to court with copies of all documents and information related to his failure to comply with the court's order.
