Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Seperation Agreements

If my spouse has left me and I do not know where she is. Can I file for a legal seperation, without her being present? and if I can file for seperation, does this mean that she can no longer claim the home we resided in as a legal address. Thank you

Re: Seperation Agreements

This is considered abandonment. There are certain steps to take such as posting notice in the newspaper, etc.

Please consider consulting a family law practitioner.

Sincerely, Maria Murber
