Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Service?

Hi,

If I file a complaint for contempt can I just send the summons to my ex's attorney? Or would I still an official sheriff/etc to serve the papers?

You must make service through a constable, sheriff, or other lawful process server, as a contempt is a separate and brand-new civil action.
