Do siblings have legal rights 2 possesions when one passes?

It sounds as though you have lost someone close to you and I'm sorry.

If the deceased sibling had an estate plan, then their belongings would pass according to their instructions. If they did not have an estate plan in place. then the laws of intestacy will apply. Whether the belongings of the deceased pass to a sibling or siblings depends entirely on who survives the deceased.
