signing off rights to a child

if i sign off rights to a child am i responsible for child support

.im in a tough spot dor just made my weekly payments 300$ a week for on kid my rent is $400 a month .now that this has happened i cant pay child support to my other child. i havent seen or heard from my daughter in 2 yrs because of her mother i have no visitation .i live a 1000 miles away

You cannot simply rid yourself of your obligation. You fathered a child, so you must support her, whether you have visitation or not, and whether you WANT visitation or not. Support is not payment for visitation. This is not some backward society where you get to avoid your responsibilities without consequence.

You then fathered a different child with a different woman, and that child apparently does not live with you. You will have to do what you can to coordinate your two child support obligations.

You should take steps to avoid fathering a third child who will need support you cannot provide at this time, if you have not done so already.

No, I am not terribly sympathetic on these points. Fathers do what they can for their children.
