Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
My sister lives in MA. She is trying to put her oldest daughter in the care of our parents to get her away from the mental and verbal abuse doled out by her husband and father-in-law. The husband, father of the child, doesn't even want to entertain the idea of the child coming to visit let alone stay for a while. What can be done?

Your sister is doing this incorrectly. The father, barring a court order, is entitled to input concerning his daughter.
The better approach is to file an action in Court. Which action depends on her goals.
