Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
I only have one small 2-part question and am not looking to hire an attorney for representation.
I have been married for 6 years and getting divorced (uncontested). We have 2 children (2 & 4 yrs). My wife has been a stay-at-home wife the entire life of the marriage. She does have a undergraduate degree in Business Administration, but has not been in the work force for over 6 years. I gross approximately $92,000 (currently)--I'm active duty military and depending on where I am stationed my income is supplemented for the local cost of living; when I move from the Boston area, my gross will significantly decrease.
We have no issues on finance, child support, child custody, visitation, or other assets. Based my situation, I am curious what the "ballpark" amount of alimony should be and for how long? I am afraid to agree to too much support. But I don't want my ex to be in a bind until she gets back on her feet as she will have the kids.
Thanks for the support as this is the only thing from quickly making our divorce final.

There is no set amount for alimony in Massachusetts-the Judge will consider what is fair and reasonable as to the amount.
