Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Hi ,

I have been staying in USA for two years approximately on work assignment and same is the case with my husband. We are living separately for more than a year now and he has filed for a divorce in US . I dont want to give him a divorce here as we both have fiancial assets to be settled in India and not in US. I fear that if he gets a divorce here , he will escape all the debts and settlement back home. Please suggest how can I stop and defend against his summons for divorce.

The only way to stop this is to file and get a divorce in India before he gets a divorce in Massachusetts.
