Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

stubborn child,

my son is 15, and the youngest of three, the past two years,its as if rules of house and school don't apply to him, he is disruptive at most times. I need to seek legal help, before all of our live are ruined. when he doesn't come home when he should, I have threaten to lock him out, he talks about what he was told about his rights as a minor, from school.

Re: stubborn child,

You should go to the local District Court in your

location and ask to speak to a probation officer

about your son. (If you live in a county in which

there is a Juvenile Court, you should go there

instead). Tell the probation officer about the

problems you are having and ask him or her if you

should file a CHINS petition. CHINS stands for

Children in Need of Services. This is a civil

proceeding, (not criminal). If a CHINS is not

appropriate ask what other options he or she would
