Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Supervised visitation

My question- if a father has supervised visitation once a month-it is my understanding that he cannot go to the childs school while she is there, or anywhere such as sprt activities etc... is this correct? due to him having to be supervised.(physical/emotional abuse)

Re: Supervised visitation

It is an interesting question.

Visits means direct contact. Observing the child in activities that does not involve direct contact would seem not to be covered by the order.

Unless the court order addresses this type of situation, I would suspect it is an ambiguity that may permit such observation.
