Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
support
If the mom has a pending disability case from a bone disease in the knees and a lump in the back and lack of range of motion in a hip and is unable to work will this be frowned upong by a judge? The mother is engaged and her fiancee who lives with her and the children contributes much more then support from the ex is it alright that she is unable to work?

Re: support
The court uses the child support guidelines to determine how much is paid-it dosent matter as to a diaability or the ex.

Re: support
If the mother is really disabled and has medical support for same, the judge should not hold that against her. But she will have to show her medical condition will not stop her from being able to care for her children.
