Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Telling the children things

My ex recently had a discussion with each of the children and his girlfriend about me and discussed the court case which upset the children. When I told my ex this is not acceptable and you do not put the children in the middle he disagreed. He and his girlfriend said some awful lies about me and it hurt the children. My ex seems to think that a judge would be fine with it and I said no a judge will not be fine with this. He is constantly finding excuses on why he took me to court and explaining that to the children which is actually another lie. He is trying to justify his actions and words and it has been a year since last court. Is it acceptable for what he is doing? Will a judge agree to him talking abut the court case and talking about their mother with his girlfriend on visitations to the children? I do ''NOT'' do this!!!!!

Re: Telling the children things

Your ex and his girlfriend are decidedly out of bounds. This may call for a contempt action or a modification, depending on the exact status of your case and the existence of specific orders. You should contact an attorney for a full consultation, and provide a copy of the last orders or judgment.
