i want to know if there is a time limit on a divorce. If I don't sign the papers and go to the parenting class will the divorce be granted anyways.

If you fail to participate in your own divorce, a divorce will still be granted, but you will have no control over the outcome. It sounds as though your other spouse has prepared a separation agreement and is looking to you for cooperation in filing an uncontested divorce. If you are feeling railroaded, or you do not like the arrangement your spouse has proposed, I encourage you to contact an attorney to advocate for you in this process. If your spouse wants an amicable divorce, they will have to meet you halfway. Give us a call at 617-357-4898. We charge a flat fee for uncontested divorce proceedings.
