Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Today my dad donated my 2 birds to petco without my mom's permission to petco, then petco took the birds in and did not ask my dad for any paper work that said he owned or bought them so they kept the birds, then when I call my dad to see how they are he said thelat he donated them to petco, but my mom and I signed a d paid for the birds, do I have the right to claim them if my dad didn't have permission?

Petco should have asked for some form of ownership before the donation. You need to contact Petco and advise them of this. Since this is a family, Petco may well see this as a family issue rather than one of their responsibility.
