unable to afford attorney to file for divorce
I was forced into individual bankruptcy, my husband wouldn't assist me, he grossed $80,000 in 2002, I grossed $7,000. I can't find an attorney who will help with out large retainer. We have a house apprasied at $310,000. I would like 1/2 house worth to pay off bankrupcty and start fresh. I am reclocating to N.C. to help my daughter when her husband whos in the Marines goes overseas. can you help please??????

Unfortunately, what you are saying does not make sense. If you believe you have a claim against your husband for half of the equity in the house (however much that is), you would have had to list it as an asset or at least an equitable interest. If you file a divorce now and claim that interest, you could find yourself facing federal charges for bankruptcy fraud.
If your husband is that well off, you should be able to find a lawyer who will take the case and file for temporary alimony, for his/her retainer.
In any case, I do not take on complicated or time-consuming cases, and I cannot help you with a do it yourself divorce, because of these complicated issues.
