Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
Unreasonable to ask?
Is it unreasonable to ask your ex on visitations not to have a 12 year old hanging around with 17,18,19 and 20 year old kids? Instead have them with their own peers. These teenagers and men talk dirty around him and he comes home repeating and asking about what is a bush, lubrication and so on. I can not repeat the other words on a public site. Am I being unreasonable? As a mother I do not think this appropriate to expose a child to at all and at such a young age.

This is not a legal question. The words you describe are not a rare subject of discussion for children of his age.
Re: Unreasonable to ask?
No it's not unreasonable however, this is not a legal question. This has more to do with how you and your ex parent together. You and your ex needs to have effective communication in order to co-parent. This is something no lawyer or judge can do for you.
Re: Unreasonable to ask?
I don't fully agree with the prior answer. A judge can certainly order limits to visitation if the child at issue is at risk of serious physical or emotional harm. On the facts presented, though, I agree with the prior answer -- a judge would probably say something to the visiting parent, but also tell you to realize that the child is going to learn these things somewhere (public school, the Internet, cable TV, even some great literature).
