Re: Vehicle Co-Signer

If the co-signer is not on the title of the car, then he has no right to repossess or simply take away your car.

He does have the obligation to pay for the loan on the car if you do not pay or default on the loan. He has essentially guaranteed that you pay to the bank and he will pick up the tab if you decide not to.

Re: Vehicle Co-Signer

If he is not on the registration, he can't take the car. He is as co-signor, obligated to pay the note on the car if you do not and can sue for sale of the car if he is required to pay on the note.
