Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Is new wife obligated to contribute to child support of spouse

My husband currently pays his ex-wife child support. We have been married for 3 years and his children are 17 and 20. He has been divorced for 8 years. His ex-wife has brought him back to court to alter the divorce decree to force him to pay 1/3 of college expenses and to increase child support. Yesterday I was served a subpeona to appear at a deposition and I must provide all of my savings, checking accounts, employment records, 401K etc. Does my income come into play for child support and college fee's since the children are not mine?

That subject is usually addressed in the separation agreement. If it isn't then one can go back into court to try and have it factored in to the child support formula. Obviously, it is something which can be negotiated and litigated.
