can a woman be held accountable for failing to inform and ex boyfriend she has had a baby, hasn't the fathers rights been violated? How can she walk into someones life 10 years later inform them they have a child and demand child support without be held accountable for her actions?

Notwithstanding the lack of information, if you are indeed the parent of the child, you will be obligated to pay child support, but will also have rights to visitation.
I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP. She will need to prove you are the biological father.
