Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Wrong Doings

Back in 2003 we became divorced the mediator assumed I coudl go back to work in my degree and said both are finanically dependent and waved alimony. I was not working and found out I am not grandfathered due to the many years that passed from graduation in 1989. It was written I can claim the house taxes.... and he could claim the children who live with me 100% and the house was mine and hsi pentions even though worth more were his. He works for the state and claimed anyhow the principles and interests of my home on his taxes for 4 years (tax fraud). How do I go about at least claiming my children on taxes. I am poverty level and he gets raises left and right and never an increase in child support in 6 years. Car accident in 2004 injured my back and hip. Unable to walk for 6 months. Still have constant pain and problems in walking. Can anyone help?

Re: Wrong Doings

You should retain an attorney to file a complaint for modification of child support based on changed circumstances.

If you can't afford legal fees, contact one of the legal clinics for assistance.

Good Luck.
