Legal Question in Medical Leave in Massachusetts
leave for medical appointments
my spouse has breast cancer and my employer is not allowing me to take any more time to bring her for her appointments. She is scheduled for a masectomy and I need to be there with her. Is there anything that I can do to go to this appointment and not jeopardize my job?

Contact local counsel after reviewing the company written statements and figure out whether you have used up your FMLA leave entitilements.
Re: leave for medical appointments
If your employer and you are both covered by the Family and Medical Leave act, you are entitled to take intermittant leave for the serious illness of a spouse (doctor appts would qualify). You need to contact a Massachusetts employment lawyer to determine if you have any rights under state law.
