Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts
Agreement for Judgement
Does an ''Agreement for Judgement'' against the Defendant get filed with the Court and subsequently does it show up on an individuals public or credit record. If so, can language be included in the agreement to preclude it from being entered into the court/public record. Both parties have agreed to all of the terms of the Agreement.

Re: Agreement for Judgement
First, if the parties agree you don't have to enter an agreement for judgment. You can sign a separate settlement agreement and then file a notice of withdrawal, with prejudice with the court. If you file an agreement for judgment, it is a public record but it is unlikely that it would come to the attention of credit bureaus.
