Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts
Bishop Motion
Someone I barely know has a case in the MA courts. He barely speaks English and his attorney is less than helpful.
He wants to know the definition of ''Bishop Motion''.
Thank you.

Re: Bishop Motion
1. If this is the problem, then he should someone communicate to counsel to get an interpreter;
2. Bishop is the Bishop-Fuller protocol usually involved in certain cases where the attorney seeks records for which a claim of privilege has been asserted.
3. A lawyer that has reached the Bishop protocol must be doing some serious work in the behalf of his client.
