Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

I was outside on my college campus smoking a cigar, when a campus police officer approached me and told me he had received a report of a male publicly urinating. He asked if I knew anything about it, and I said no because I honestly did not. He then asked my name and if I was a student, and if I had been drinking (hadnt been). I complied and gave him my answers. Then he went and sat back in his car for a while in front of me. I am wondering if he could have charged me with public urination thing anyway?

Based on what you've said, I don't know how he could, unless someone reported to him that it was you.
