Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

dance studio

I recently signed a lease for space for my dance studio. I ask the landlord before signing if noise would be an issue. He said no. I am now being sued, along with the landlord by my neighbor the Yoga studio. What can I do?

The landlord is not a guarantor of the actions of other tenants.

1. You can break the lease; and/or

2. You can join the landlord as a party to the action.
