Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

''Dismissals''

I recently had a judge dismiss a credit card debt that I fought in court because it did not belong to me and someone told me it could be brought back to court and opened at any time again. Is this true and if it is how can I prevent this from happening.
