Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Employer inappropriately fired me without paying me my earnings

I worked for clothing credit at a small Consignment shop. On two occaisions while I was not present in the shop there were 2 small thefts totaling $28.00.

I personally brought in 14k gold and sapphire jewellry which was stolen while I was working or overnight. My boss was taking off for days at a time and I was exhausted trying to manage the store alone. When she returned I called her and gave a 2 week notice, she begged me to reconsider.I told her about the theft of my jewellry, for which I was required to absorb the entire loss of. The next day she fired me saying she didn't know who to trust anymore. As I said earlier, I was not present when the two other thefts occurred and the last theft was my own to bear. I was fingerprinted and fired. She owes me nearly $650 in store credit and every time I meet with her about it she has not had time to review my time sheets of the past 2 months and therefore will not write out a merchandise credit. I'm at the end of my rope here guys and I can't afford a lawyer, Help!!!

I just helped someone else in a similar position.

If you still need help, give me a telephone call. She has violated the law and it could cost her.
