Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Fraudulant offer received in the mail

A card was sent out with the offer of $15.00 per month membership clearly stating ''No Enrollment Fee!!'' ''No Commitment!'' (see card here: www.angoraknitforyou.com/WOW.htm) I called the store to verify it was a legitimate offer and was assured it was. Upon arrival I was told the exclamation points were actually to be used as asterisks and the ''No Enrollment fee!!'' is on the $49.99 membership. I have more information on my website addressed above.

Re: Fraudulant offer received in the mail

You should gather the information/documentation and forward them to the attention of the attorney general. Sounds to me, that if what you said is on point, that would be considered

unfair and deceptive practices (false/deceptive advertisement) and you should make the attorney general of Massachusetts aware of same. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Maria Murber
