gifts and statue of limitations
From 1989-1991 I dated an art collector who gave art work as
gifts and art work to sell for him. When our romantic
relationship ended in 1991 I returned all art that was
consigned for sale. It's been 10 years plus and he now wants
the gifts back because of the increased value. What are my
rights and is there a statue of limitations to gi

A gift is a gift on delivery. If he alleges employment relationship, that'
s contractual and the statute of limitations is 6 years.
He sounds like a real creep. Check that you have adequte insurance coverage in case these item disappear.
