Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Harrasement/Blackmail

I am being harrassed (phone, messages, etc) by an ex-employee who says he has ''information'' he is willing to expose. How can I stop this?

Harassment/Blackmail

Apparently there are some complications between what information the person has, and what exposure you may fear.

You need to consult an attorney and examine what exists, and the options you may have.

You can contact me for such assistance.

Re: Harrasement/Blackmail

Assuming you consider his information harmless, you can call his bluff and report the calls to your local police. You can also bring the matter to the clerk-magistrate of your local District Court and seek issuance of criminal process for misdemeanor harassment. A third option is to file suit in the Superior Court for injunctive relief.
