house ownership
i own a two famlie house with a co worker if one of us should die does the other have the right to the house over his famlie or ex wife ?

It depends on what your deed says. If it says "as joint tenants" the property goes to you without going through probate. If the deed says "as tenants in common and not as joint tenants" the property goes to co-worker's family.
