Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts
We live in a townhouse condominium. We have had vandalism to our unit by neighborhood children and would like to install a home surveillance system. The association is refusing to allow us citing privacy issues. In Massachusetts, is this an issue provided the cameras do not record sound?

this is the problems with condos. Join the board and see if you can change the rules. Many businesses and associations permit such cameras. I am not sure that the condo rules can bar cameras inside your unit. I would have to read the rules.
