Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

How long does the federal courts take before deciding about a cases movement? Mine has been sitting there for 5 months now awaiting for anything to happen. Called and they said the judge probably has not even looked at it yet. Is this normal?

I am not familiar with your case, so I cannot give you a specific answer, but it is not unusual for a federal case to sit for 5 months without any court activity.
