Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

How long does it take to obtain a right to sue?

Pertaining to a class action lawsuit over independent contractor misclassification, what is the typical length of time one can expect to wait prior to receiving a right to sue?

Is there any way to expedite the litigation process or get around the letter?

It shouldn't take too long once you have filed an official complaint with the Attorney General's office. If you are requesting a private right of action under the Massachusetts Wage Law, you must request such a right of action in writing with the Attorney General.

Please feel free to contact my office if I can be of any further assistance in your various claims.
