Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

losing my house to liability claim of other parent of stepchild

If I have a stepchild that lives with me because his father(my

husband) has custody of him and that child recieves an injury in

my house when he is unsupervised (he is 12 ) and the house is in

my name alone can his mother (who has visitation rights but not

custody)file a claim and win a suite against me for my house or the

value of my house?

This is a possibility. Check your homeowner coverage to see if the live-in stepson is excluded from liability coverage.
